“Sometimes I really wonder!”- Sandra Mushi

Sometimes I really wonder! How we can just wake up and pull ‘sherias’ out of our hats. Sasa ati no spot lights, no fog lights and no tints …

How about you install street lights on ALL streets and actually have them ON and working; and how about having proper and working security measures including when I come report a theft, you actually attend to it and FOLLOW it up!  Instead of asking for ‘chai’ na ‘nauli’ kila kukichwa.

Those lights are our safety so I don’t have to worry about driving into a bridge on a dark night.  They are my safety so I can see clearly on a rainy day.  They are my safety so I can see that drunkard staggering from a far even before I get to that corner.

Those tints are our safety so I don’t have my windows broken as I am sitting in a meeting simply because the street boy saw my gym bag on the back seat.  They are my safety so when they want to follow me home they are not sure who is in the car.  They are my safety so that conniving motor cyclist does not see that its a lone woman driving.

Hembu do your due diligence basi and assure us of our safety before you mercilessly start imposing this ‘out of the hat’ sheria on us.

You do your part and we will humbly oblige and do ours.
